About

At College Decrypted I help college applicants find schools where they will thrive and be both successful and happy. I aim to reduce stress for students and their families and to facilitate students’ growth and self-understanding. The college application process can be fun!

I take the time to get know all of my students well to help them to calmly and carefully identify their goals and values. This enables each student to develop a balanced list of schools that suits them – academically, socially, geographically and financially. I have extensive knowledge of colleges throughout the US and help students discover schools that are right for them.

Using proprietary software, I help students keep track of their schools, application requirements, and deadlines. I communicate frequently with parents to keep them updated on their children’s progress.

I have a certificate in College Admissions and Career Planning from UC Berkeley Extension, a Ph.D. in Epidemiology from Yale, and a B.A. in Psychology from Cornell. I have previous experience as a pre-professional advisor at Boston University, advising students applying to graduate and professional programs in medical fields. As a trained researcher, I am relentless in my search for information that will help students thrive and succeed throughout the application process.
